Want to naturally generate deep links to your site? Who doesn’t?   Here is the best piece of advice I can give you. Write a very informative, technical article about something important to your industry. Make sure it contains information that is not easily found elsewhere. Offer rare incites, include statistics.  You may need to do a little research to gather some good facts.

 Create an optimized page for that article on your website. Then do a little promoting of that page. In all likelihood, this page will rank high on some long-tail search terms. You are not trying to get a lot of traffic, but some linking.   It may not be quick an easy, but it is definitely  a better more robust long term strategy then most other link building techniques.

Here is an example of a membrane switch site that created a page devoted to silver migration.   The page ranks number one for the term “silver migration” they get some traffic for it, but more importantly, they got four natural links pointing to a page deep in their site. (Now five)
